Gloucestershire Family History Society
If your ancestors came from any part of Gloucestershire, whether the Cotswolds, the Severn Vale, or the Forest of Dean, then we are the society for you. If you live in the county, but your ancestors came from elsewhere, the society is also for you.
Hampshire Genealogical Society
Run entirely by volunteers, HGS has been promoting and encouraging the study of family history research since its formation in 1974. In pursuit of these objectives the Society has collected, transcribed, published and made accessible in various formats, a large catalogue of Family History Records, data and historical documents relating to the County of Hampshire.
Malvern (Worcestershire) Family History Society
Malvern FHS formed in 1996 and their activities have expanded to cater for members' needs. Prospective members will find other members at a similar stage in their researches whether they are beginners or experienced genealogists.
Nuneaton & North Warwickshire Family History Society
With a growing number of members from all over the world, the society is actively transcribing, compiling databases, and publishing indexes for a wide variety of local genealogical records.
Mike Welch - Devon Parish Records
Mike Welch has personally transcribed thousands of parish records in the Devon area. He sells his transcriptions in order to further fund the charity that he and his wife have set up to support sufferers of Addison's Disease.
Somerset & Dorset Family History Society
The Somerset & Dorset Family History Society was founded in 1975 and helps people to research their family history, especially those with ancestors in the two counties. The Society's Family History Centre is in Sherborne, Dorset and includes an excellent local and family history library.
Worcestershire Friend Society
The Worcestershire Friend society is dedicated to ensuring that as many people as possible around the world benefit from the work of the late Audrey Friend. Audrey spent thousands of hours creating a range of resources to help Worcestershire family historians.
